This content series is focused on making stuff. Each week, we will highlight excellent clever do-it-yourself projects for parents. That might mean crafty stuff, photography ideas, food, or other DIY problem-solving projects.

I assume the double entrendre was intentional? =)
Wahooo!
Very exciting! And great timing… I’ve just started working on some photo projects. I will be in touch soon 🙂 look forward to seeing what everyone else is working o.
Lovin it! Can’t wait to participate.
love this idea – especially with pinterest being so prominent in mom culture at the moment. i keep pinning and not doing! i’m looking forward participating! (unless there’s sewing… 😉
I haven’t done this yet, but it’s on my list – homemade playdough. My sister made Gingerbread playdough at Christmas time and her little one had the best time making Gingerbread “cookies”.
So are the projects supposed to be DIY things that we are making for the kids? If so I have some ideas from posts I already have written that I can email you.
Loving the ‘Makin’ it’ series! Especially since its cold and wintery, making the whole ‘getting out of the house’ bit seems like a wash with my rookie 5 month old.
2 fun projects completed so far this Feb:
1. DIY Taggies! Those taggies blankets are irritatingly tiny. I made some big-ass ones from fleece and ribbon from the craft store. They are Awesome.
2. Maternity T-shirt repurposing extravaganza! Fifty million tutorials available on Pinterest. Do you ladies Piterest?
I do Pinterest, Emily! Do you have a board of the maternity tshirt repurposing? I’ll post one of making a scarf/necklace soon.
And the Kreative Blogger Award goes to…..brrrrrrr (drum roll)….Rookie Moms!
