The biggest surprise to me that is so many of you are finding time to read Happiest Baby on the Block as a book and not just the DVD. Then again, I did it too, and my kids are perfect so its probably worth it. I believe the book is for expecting parents and the DVD is for those in their first few confusing weeks.
The next category of interest among our rookie mom readers is BABY FOOD: making it, storing it, and getting inspired with new ideas.

I have the Super Baby Food book and while I’m sure it is chock full of wonderful recipes, I can’t read it without getting a headache. The print is way too small and there is just way too much stuff on a page! Plus I like pictures.
In place of a white noise machine, I put my ipod in the nursery with a special nighttime playlist I created and that has worked great. Although I do have a white noise machine in the closet as a backup, just in case.
