Best. Costume. Ever. via pregnant chicken
Pregnant Chicken (a blogging, bacon-loving mom of two) compiled a fantastic list of 25 kick-ass costumes for pregnant chicks. My favorite is Quinn from Glee because I can totally picture hugely pregnant Whitney squeezing into her old cheerleading uniform. Bwah ha ha ha. So, if I had a big ol’ belly and a cheerleading uniform, that’s what I’d be.

Funny! I sooo want to be Quinn now… I’ll be 13 weeks by then, so it’s not like it’ll be obvious that I’m actually pregnant Quinn!
You’d look about as pregnant as she does in this picture. Which is not very. Then again the belly knows how to do it better the second time…

When my mom was pregnant with my little sister in the 80′s, she made herself a bowling ball costume, and actually got my dad to dress up as a bowling pin (complete with short shorts and tights)! She tells me she took 2.5 year old me to the bowling alley for authentic logo info and everything! I just had to share because they were totally adorable. I don’t think I would be so motivated as a pregnant mama of a toddler. I have not been preggo at Halloween, but I will keep this in mind for next time! I loved the Humpty Dumpty.

My big bummer this year is that my hair is way, way too short to pull off a decent Quinn, and I can’t find any good blonde ponytail wigs. Otherwise, my 19-week bump and I would be ALL OVER this costume!
