One of the few fights Whitney and I have had in recent memory was over a dress: she was showing me her new sassy little black dress from Shabby Apple and I wanted to borrow it before she even took the tags off. Not my finest moment. The dresses from Shabby Apple are so lovely that you’ll want one too (even maternity dresses which I just found out – yay!); I only hope you can keep your dignity.
Since a post-partum Heather is not ready to share clothes with a pint-sized Whitney, she found a few choices that detract focus from my floppy belly that I could get for my own self like a 50′s-era hostess dress, formal but not formal gown, crisp waitress dress, and this boatneck dress (with pockets!).

Because of my recent journey through maternity clothes, I got excited about a few of the maternity styles too: Oh Baby shirt collar (pictured), Neapolitan maxi, and Sicily every day dress in RED.

Okay, okay with all those choices, this is my current reigning favorite style: the Sierra Nevada, but I doubt I would take it on any trail hikes.

The Forked-Tail Devil is beautiful! So fun!
Must have Apron Strings maternity dress in cream to wear as a groomswoman in my best friends wedding in June! I’m going to be way pregnant and am supposed to look as pretty as all of the younger, blonder sisters of the bride who will be the bridesmaids. Yeeks!
Just liked them on facebook too!
I also might really need that Fruitful maternity dress to wear to my 20th reunion this May. Oh Gawd. I’m getting really freaked out about being pregnormous for all of these events.
I love the Glacier dress. I’d wear it to an interview for a job!

Oh, I love the Charcoal Maternity dress – but, really, all their maternity dresses make me excited to be pregnant again.
I recently “discovered” Shabby Apple’s G. Cooper dress, and I am in love! I would wear it during a “girl’s day out” shopping spree with my sister, who also enjoys dressing up for no particular reason.
I’m already a fan of Shabby Apple on Facebeook!
I am 8 months postpartum and these nursing boobs won’t fit in any of my old clothes. I have a work fundraiser to attend and my “you can wear it all the time” head says go with The Movies. But my “distract from the boobs with fabulousness” says The Beguine all the way.

I “like” them on facebook…and in real life too!
I love the new Mad Hatter Collection especially Calooh! Callay!
I’m a practical person. First, I’d wear this dress (Black Oak) on a hot date with my hubby. One where we splurge on wine! Then, I’d wear it for every choral concert and Christmas event for the next 10 years. True story
I’m newly pregnant and have whole wardrobe to build! I liked the “shabby apple” on facebook and the site is GREAT!
I need some good pieces that can grow with me through the spring and into the summer, a basic, simple dress would be perfect!
I’d pick Atlantic Fog to wear on my trip to London this fall.

I would wear the Rocco dress on an imaginary pizza date to italy with my hubby.
Gray Fox, coming to a date night near you (or hopefully me)!

I think I could wear that Oh Baby Shirt Collar dress to work (as a kindergarten teacher) every.single.day. Do I have to be pregnant though?
I would choose the Frabjous Day Dress for a picnic with the hubs!

I would wear the Frabjous Day dress to my cousin’s Spring wedding!
I need the Ballerina style for dancing around in my living room! Beautiful dresses- thanks so much for hosting!
I’ve been eying the Apron Springs maternity dress for my baby showers, but can’t really justify spending $85 on a dress I’d only wear a few times.
Also liked SA on facebook
Apron strings would be great for wearing to my brother’s wedding next month.

I love the Spanish Steps dress and I would wear it on our cruise in April!
‘Liked’ Shabby Apple on Facebook!
Such a hard decision! lol I love the Boat Neck dress that you have pictured above. I’d wear it to a ‘Army Wives’ 4th of July party. It seems that a few of the wives seem to step it up a notch at any regular party.
One dress that stuck out is the “I’m Late! I’m Late” Navy Lace Dress. It reminds me of Adele’s Grammy Dress but hers was black. So pretty, conservative but a glamorous. I’d wear it to a Post Grammy Party! =o)
The Red Queen. Love it.
I’d wear it to my daughter’s upcoming birthday party…where the theme is ladybugs. I could be chic and still festive.
I would wear the Ahoy dress to a luncheon I have coming up.
thanks

I’d go for the bow baby to have a new maternity dress for baby number two on the way.
Definitely something from the new Mad Hatter line…I can’t decide what! It would be great to have something lacy and feminine for bridal showers and such.
