I love to drool over design magazines and blogs, but as I am entirely too practical and cheap to buy any of the items pictured, I have never sought out any of the items depicted. My house is mostly driven by color, as paint is more affordable than furniture.
One of my local blogging friends, Reichel Broussard, mom to Arden and Conrad, is the creator of CopycatChic, a site dedicated to highlighting less expensive sources for the items depicted in all the glamorous interior photographs that get published. It’s a design blog for the rest of us.

Copycat Chic is not just nursery items, but features home offices, living rooms, and more. I’m sharing a few nursery examples here, to give you a sense of how VALUABLE her tips can be! I’ll link the image to the cheap versions, too.
Cheaper rocking chair in this find is from Hayneedle.
Oh, Target. You get us. That’s where you’ll find this soft vanilla pouf, which, for $40 you don’t need to be committed for a lifetime.
