My former co-worker Erin is the rookie mom of Esme. She recently launched her business doing maternity, baby, child and family photography in the Bay Area.

When she told me of her new venture as a professional photographer, I loved that she also gave me a budget-friendly tip.
“Split a session with another family.”
If a photographer charges $250 per session for up to four people, with each extra person being $25, two 3-person families could share a session for $300.
Split it with your sibling and get some cool cousins pictures, to boot.
