Gifts that will really get used: Play table and chairs for toddlers

If you have a toddler or a soon-to-be toddler, you know how much they love climbing in and out of chairs. Having a kid-sized table is an investment that pays off for years.

Use it for puzzles and or art, if you are that brave parent. Use it for snack time. Eventually, preschoolers will get out their own supplies and use it as they wish. Here’s a basic affordable set that goes with most decor.

It can also save you from getting down on the floor if you can convince your child to make a block tower on the table instead.

I’m loving this mid-century styled kids table that Target.com just launched. Just $59.99!

And this one on Amazon, also mid-century style!

If you have a baby doll-lover, a doll high chair is a super fun addition to the table. Insert a stuffed animal and pretend to feed him!

There aren’t many doll high chairs on the market. Here’s the least expensive one I found on Amazon.

A table and chair set sized just right for a small child offers a big wow for a gift, and unlike a toy that gets forgotten, will long be one of the most practical items in a family’s home.
