Easy Charlie Brown Costume for babies

Since 8-month old Allie’s hair hasn’t really filled in yet, she’s got the perfect baby dome for a Charlie Brown costume.

I ordered a plain yellow shirt and grey shorts from Primary.com and bought a sheet of sticky-back felt to make the iconic zig-zag on her shirt.

This took less than two minutes, and I edited it down to 55 seconds so you can see exactly what to do. Press Play below.

What’s on her head? Well, Charlie Brown has a squiggle of hair on his forehead, so I cut a piece of sticky felt and put it on Allie. She didn’t seem to mind. Eyeliner would do the trick as well, and might stay on longer.

The other great thing about Charlie Brown’s personality is that if your baby is crying or grumpy-faced, it’s just part of the act.
