Leah from Brooklyn, NY says that her local nursing bra store will convert any bra into a nursing bra. It’s a small local store called ‘Your Top Priority‘ . If you buy the bra there its $5.00; if you bring in from elsewhere its $6.50.
Leah says that she shops at a discount place, gets it half price, and takes it there to get fixed up!
So yes, we are saying that your nursing bras can look like your old favorite bra.

In 18 months of nursing, I have not hit a stage of boob size/shape where my old bras actually fit me. (*sigh*) Of course, this option would work nicely if I wanted to buy a new, well-fitting non-nursing bra now.
(I can’t help myself… I have to say that underwire bras are not recommended for nursing boobs because they can cause plugged ducts.)
Great idea… Since I’ve been breast feeding I hardly ever where a bra. Easier accsess. I love being a bf’ing mama but I look forward to the day that I can wear a sexy underwire bra

Sonja, if your bra is correctly fitted, there is absolutely no problem with underwires. Unfortunately, very few women are correctly fitted, even those fitted by bra fitters !

Brand name bra to a nursing bra for you.
You choose the bra, for example Bali 180
size 34B and check off convert to nursing.
You do not have to compromise support
and comfort while nursing anymore.
