When I was a kid, I was stuck staring at the wallpaper my parents chose for a guest room as my childhood bedroom. Boring and blech. Now that I’m the parent, I love wall decals for updating the personality of any room really fast. And it’s much easier (and cheaper) than painting.
This summer as my husband and I tried to designate a part of our family guest room and office as “nursery,” the movable stickers at My Wonderful Walls came to the rescue. There are some magical designs to choose from but when it came time to merge my command central for blogging and twitter with the new nest of a baby, I went for the easy motif and put a bird on it.
My big boys love this space theme, but I thought it was a little intense for an infant guest room office. In addition to the collection of wall stickers (clingy moveable decorations), there are also wall stencil kits (where you can paint your own wall mural without screwing it up).

My Wonderful Walls sent me two sets of the birdies so that I could vouch for the quality of the product and I give it a thumbs up. The little girl in me probably still wants a garden, forest, or castle. The tween in me did not find any Rob Lowe stickers.

I would go with the Forest Friends Wall Sticker Kit (with the personalized trail sign–that would be “Mazzy”, please) to replace the hooptie wall stickers that are currently in my son’s room. He got all his sister’s gender neutral hand-me-downs, including the whole jungle-themed room, complete with peeling stickers. It would be a total upgrade for the baby brother who is going to be living in hand-me-downs forever after (sure hope he ends up loving pink sparkles when he’s a toddler…).
I really love everything in every collection but I am finally going to set up my 12 year old son’s bedroom (6 years in the making). Michael is loving everything space related. So we’ll be using the space collection. I really want some glow in the dark pieces. And when all is said and done I want his room at night to look like he’s actually outside. Big job for a first timer! Say a prayer for us.
I love the Daffodils trio. We’re redoing our dining room, and I think those would look so sweet in there.
I LOVE the Flower Wall Mural! Im having my first bay in march and ITS A GIRL! That mural would go PERFECT!
I adore the Jungle Safari wall stickers and would use it for my baby room. I’m a little ahead of the game as I’m still trying to conceive but having the nursery decor planned out in advance releases some stress
It’s hard to choose just one. In fact, I can’t decide between the Transportation Wall Stickers (because my almost-4yo is all about things that move, and his walls are bare white except the cloud stickers and stars on the ceiling) and the Classic Oak Family Tree Wall Sticker (I’m a genealogist, and this just speaks to me).
But I love ‘em all. Gonna have to use that discount code.
I can’t buy my two preschoolers a living forest, but I could definitely decorate their room with the Forest Friends wall stickers and let their imaginations fly.
I would have to say that the Forest wall mural stencil kit is my favorite. My daughter just moved into a big girl bed and it would be nice to give her a big girl themed room with it!
The forest friends wall sticker it is adorable! How cute is the fox?! My husband and I just had our offer accepted to buy our very first home (yippee!) and there’s a tiny little bedroom that will become the nursery (our first baby is also “in the works”).
Dinosaur kit for my little guys room.. it is so bare and boring right

I’m digging the sheep!
I’m thinking “Splendid Garden” would look awesome on my girl’s lovely pastel-ish green walls.
The forest kit is way too cute. My son’s tiny room is already packed with art, but I bet these would look super cool on his ceiling! (Or maybe the space set would be better for that?)
I would use the Forest Friends Wall Sticker Kit. My daughter and my son (and one unknown on the way!) share a room. A forest theme is light and fun but gender- neutral! Exactly what I need!
