Omigod, once again I am totally serious and unsmiley in this Ragu video clip. What is my problem? I really am proud that I’m giving my kids the dinner experience I dreamed of as a kid. I am happy! I should be smiling when I describe it! Instead, I look like I’m discussing foreign policy.
Today we have THREE $100 gift cards to giveaway. Ragu is wrapping up their Mom’s The Word on Dinner campaign (a series of videos that I appeared in) and wants to celebrate by allowing you to splurge on something that will make you smile.
Here’s the deal: Comment below and tell us what you’d do with $100 that is related to FAMILY DINNER.
Enter only once. (Subsequent entries from the same email address will be deleted.)
On December 5, I will select three winners at random via computer. The three lucky winners will receive a $100 Amex Gift Card that can be used wherever American Express is accepted. Good luck!

that would go the juicer fund- cant get the toddler to eat veggies but she sure will drink them!
A highchair! So we can eat at the table, instead of eating at the coffee table!
If I had $100 I would be able to buy a awesome food processor so that I could cut down on prep time and spend more time with my son and husband!
I would definitely use it to get a great crock pot! Dinners would be so much easier if I could throw everything into one and let it cook while I’m at work and then dinner is ready when we’re home
I would replace our faulty microwave so I can heat up our leftovers worry-free!
I seriously need a new crock pot. I have a 5qt one and I need a BIGGER ONE!! And Im picky! It needs to be programmable, auto witch to warm… Where, oh where is this magical crockpot!?
I would buy new pots and pans. I’ve never had good cookware and I think it affects how things cook, but it’s expensive. And a big pot that I can actually boil a whole chicken in and make gumbo.
I’d love to splurge on some really good ingredients for a date night at home with my husband – he really deserves it.
towards some much needed baking pans so that my daughters and I can bake with new stuff!
I would get a few new pots, as we still cook with a combo of grandma’s hand-me-downs and Ikea ones bought in college. But I’d also love to either buy or make a stable step stool big enough for both of my kids to participate in cooking or observe at counter height in the kitchen without worrying they’ll fall off.
Our little one is just starting to eat solids. We’d spend 100 dollars on a high chair so he can have his own space to explore new tastes and textures.
I’d leave the kids at home and my husband and I would enjoy a lovely dinner, sans the rest of the family! Haha! Probably not really, but a good mommy- daddy relationship is important to the family, right????
My twin boys will be 1 year old this Friday! (Yeah!!!!) I would use that gift card to buy them baby/todler dishes and utensils to start learning how self feed and use tableware.
I really want to stock up my deep freeze for the winter!
I would buy some canned goods for the family my work is adopting for Christmas. I’d also get the fixings for a Christmas dinner for my family.
My little one will soon be graduating from highchair to booster seat. I’d put the $$ towards toddler dishes and utensils as well as fun placemats for her.
I’d use it for food and new plates/utensils for my little ones.
I’d spend it on healthy food. Seems like buying organic is out of my budget for the most part these days.
I *really* want a cast iron pot for cooking bigger meals. As our family keeps growing, I need a bigger pot!
If I had $100 dollars I’d probably buy my little one, who will start solids soon some eating utensils and a baby bullet to make fresh purees for her instead of off the shelve baby food!
With an extra $100 dollars I would probably buy a highchair for my son and baby food/finger foods for my son!
If I had $100 dollars I would probably buy eating utensils for my little one that will begin solid foods soon and also a baby bullet to make fresh purees of baby food instead of off the shelve ones!
I would buy organic snacks, because they are so expensive, I usually make my own, but buying them would be a nice change, like chococonut granola bars are so delish! Thanks for this splendid giveaway
A slow-cooker! Start dinner first thing in the morning and skip the OMG! It’s 4 PM what are we going to have for dinner? panic attack.
My daughter is a big fan of place settings so I would probably pick up placemates and personalized dishes to use.
I’d love to get some new dishes & flatware! We are definitely in need of some.
I have wanted to buy a freezer for the basement. This way I could make up meals ahead of time when I have help with the kids. They would be used on nights I don’t have help. I have a special needs child who requires constant supervision. That freezer would be a blessing.Happy Holidays!
I would buy new pots and pans!
