So, when I was contacted about Converse shoes at Sears.com last week, I said, “Heck yeah, you guys can sponsor a giveaway!” I personally love Converse on kids and adults, including moms. And on toddlers? The cutest! Right?
If you’ve got time for video, here’s a tour of the product line available at Sears.
I asked my contact on the Sears team if I could let our giveaway winner select up to four pairs of shoes to outfit her family. (Sorry, larger families!) Here’s what I’d pick, but you can make different selections:
For myself, as much as I am drawn to all the colors of the low-tops, I’m tempted by the cozy boots. Today I’m wearing a grey tunic over black leggings with boots exactly the same height as these, but not nearly as comfy looking.
For my husband, who already has black Chucks, I’d go for the stripeys.
For Julian, age 7, I’m digging the mid-profile shoe in olive green.
For Scarlett, age 4, I can’t decide between going all the way with this red gingham or the navy version that just features the gingham on the tongue. Her birthday is on the 4th of July, so she is partial to the patriotic look. I think the gingham will be cute with shorts during the summer.
Okay, here’s your chance to win. Just share a brief description of the outfit you’d pair with a new set of Converse sneakers for yourself. On Wednesday, January 25, 2012, I will select a winner at random to receive four pairs of Converse from Sears.com. Giveaway rules here.
Thanks to Sears for sponsoring this post — and thanks to my mom for not saying anything much when I wore pink Converse high-tops with a white sundress to my high school graduation ceremony.

A casual skirt and a t-shirt, nice and relaxed!
I would pair my converse shoes up with a pair of comfy boot cut jeans and a t-shirt. I love how casual converse shoes are.
I am bound and determined to win a contest this year
of course, I only enter the most popular, but at least it’s stuff I want. I’d like the low profile waterfall sparkle to wear while traveling to a beach vacay in June. I don’t fly in sandals/open toe because my feet get cold on a plane even in summer. The waterfall is sparkle is the color of the ocean and what says vacation more than sparkle? Seriously.
And for Madge? oh, too many Chucks to count. BEST shoes for little girls, especially w/ leggings and a ribbon skirt. Just the right mix of foofoo and practicality.
oh, shoot, I don’t follow instructions. Rest of the outfit? jersey skirt, tee and and bold, beaded necklace. That’s how I roll in the summer.
Has to be jeans, socks with a funky pattern (I’m thinking planets or wine glasses) a Life is Good tshirt and a zip up cashmere hoodie
I would wear mine with jeans and a comfy sweater. I can wear jeans and sneakers to work on Fridays, so they would be perfect!
Oh, I could certainly use a new pair (or four) of chucks to wear with my every day uniform: jeans and a t-shirt. My current pair is light gray and gets worn every day. My special occasion pair is a candy cane stripe with a green tongue that I found five years ago and adore.
Hmmm… Yoga pants, grey sweatshirt, down jacket, big sunglasses and pink slip on Converse.
I would wear everything with them, but specifically my favorite jeans, a t, and my purple fleece with thumb holes… Oh so cozy comfy.
I say jeans shorts, tank top and sunglasses — on my way to Maui. =D
I’m easy, I love Converse! I’d more than likely pair them with a pair of boot cut jeans, a fitted tee, and a zip up hoodie. I’m all about comfort! If they were fancier (as in the boots, not the chuck taylors) I may go with leggings and a skirt.
My daughters and I love our Chucks! I’d love a new pair to go with the strawberry-colored sundress I just picked up at a thrift shop!
Converse would be perfectly comfy with my jeans, fleece hoodie and long sleeve white T (what I like to call, “my uniform”!!).
Id probably go with jeans and a sweater, but id also love to experiment with how they’d look with a skirt and some fun tights!
Love the gray ones with gray laces – with jeans for sure, and a t-shirt and cardigan sweater. Makes me wish for spring!
ANYTHING! i would rock em with ANYTHING! pick me pick me!! pleeeeeeease!
Oh how I loved my flannel Chucks in high school!
Now I’d wear them with a short jean skirt, cute tights, nerdy sweater and my hot librarian glasses.
I would wear them with jeans and a t-shirt because that is the only thing that I ever wear.
I would pair them with my go to pair of jeans, a sweater and a scarf for a pop of color.
I miss having a pair of black chucks…I used to go through a pair each summer working at camp! These days I’m usually in jeans and tshirts but would also wear them with a comfy jersey skirt:)
I’d wear them with anything and everything. My current pair will need to be retired soon.
I’d wear them with my mom uniform: jeans, t-shirt, black cashmere hoodie, bright scarf.
I’d wear a grey t shirt with some baggy blue jeans rolled up and a pair of low top red chucks.
I wore hot pink high tops to prom.
And I’ll be wearing a pair when I head to the hospital in April to deliver my newest baby! Along with jeans and (most likely) one of my husband’s t-shirts. Ha.
Oh this brings me back. When I was in High School in the 80s, my friends and I would swap Converse High Tops – so I would be wearing a pink shoe on my right foot and a white shoe on my left and a friend would be the opposite. I have to dig out a picture from somewhere…. Anyway, I’d love some new converse to wear to the park with my toddler with jeans (or a jeans skirt) and a long sleeved t-shirt. Love.
Black yoga pants, pink fleece shirt and my new shoes!!
I can wear jeans on Fridays to work. I’d pair my new Chucks with my Yo Gabba Gabba T-Shirt that my husband got me for Christmas with a pair of blue jeans. The perfect outfit for not taking myself seriously after a long week at work.
Jeans for sure! And then a cozy shirt with a neck scarf.
Jeans and a cozy sweater! It’s cold out!
Hmmmm, my last working pair of black high top Chucks just bit the dust, so a new pair would be fabulous! My 2 1/2 year son old wore red low chucks, black skinny jeans, and a white long sleeve button down collar dress shirt with a red (clip-on) tie for Christmas. He was adorable! I would wear any bright color of low chucks with leggings, a mid-calf black skirt with a v-neck sweater and multi-colored scarf. Awesome look for awesome shoes!
I’d pair some solid colored low tops with my ankle length Ralph Lauren “mom” jeans and a gingham sleeveless button-up. This and a black nursing bra wraps up my baby-friendly fashion these days.
Summer skirt, cute t-shirt and the pink converse skimmers.
Converse go with everything in my opinion! However, my favorite way is with jeans, a fitted tee and a Fedora!
Of course, jeans and a t-shirt.
I’d love to wear them with maternity jeans (full panel, unfortunately!), a maternity black t-shirt, and maternity cardigan. Thankfully I can go casual to work. And after mid-March, I’ll hopefully be wearing them to show off my new baby boy. If I win 4 pairs, though, I guess my 2 year old could have some too!
I would wear them with a denim shirt dress!
I’ve always wanted a pair of Converse! I’d wear them with jeans and my 80s t-shirt.
Skinny jeans, black shirt, funky bold accessories. Casual Friday for a workin’ mama.
Definitely jeans and a fun colored sweater.
A pair of comfy jeans, white shirt, grey hoody and bold/trendy yellow necklace!
Jeans, my purple hoodie, and a ball cap.
I think there’s nothing cuter than the classic of jeans and a feminine t-shirt with sneakers!
I’d wear a bright red pair of chuck high tops with my wedding dress!
I’ve been planning on buying a pair of Converse for awhile. I would wear them as my casual after-work shoe. With Jeans and a T-shirt. But I also think they look good with a casual summer skirt.
I’d wear jeans, a long sleeve shirt and a cute scarf!
khakis and a white long sleeve tee
A pair of comfy jeans and a striped shirt (I have a mini obsession with stripes)
Capris and a Henley
Would you believe I haven’t owned a pair of Converse since high school? I have the perfect denim capris, tank top and cardigan to wear with a pair of Converse. Hurry up, spring!
With a cute pair of pink Cons I would wear my skinny jeans and a cute comfy blousy pink top!
I would so love to win a few pair of cute hightop cons for my 2 boys that are under 2 years! MY 1 year old LOVES his little lack hightop lace-ups, but they are wearing out!
