As a native San Diegan, my kids and I make the trek back twice a year. Another favorite of my older kids is Del Mar- a low-key surfer town (now getting more ritzy). They love Seagrove Park to swing and watch dolphins, the Del Mar beach, and Menehune Surf Camp. I must confess that I haven't been to the Model Railroad Museum or the Puppet Theater. I have to make it there this summer. You might let your readers know that on Tuesday rotating museums are free at Balboa Park. Spring in San Diego is a great time to enjoy our beautiful gardens. The Japanese Tea Garden in Balboa Park, Quail Garden's in Encinitas, and The Carlsbad Flower Fields would be fun places to visit with baby. Those are great suggestions Debbie!
