Yay! I hope you love your Target Jeggings as much as I do! :)

I have made a few things I've pinned lately, so that totally counts for under the influence, right?!

I had seen that post about the fair-trade chocolate as well and opted not to buy chocolate candy for trick-or-treaters this year. The fair-trade options we buy for home consumption are too expensive for the 100+ kiddos we get at our house!

I also had no idea how many of my friends had smart phones until I asked Facebook what sort of cover I should buy for mine. The otterbox was the almost unanimous suggestion.

I just wanted to say that actually you inspired me this week! I made 4 super hero capes out of old men's long sleeve work shirts from the website your recommended. http://capesandaprons.blogspot.com/2011/03/how-to-turn-work-shirt-in-to-superhero.html.

My two sons and their two cousins love their capes! The spent over an hour today just running in circles yelling "whoosh!" This is a great idea because the kids aged 17 months to 9 years old loved it! It was super easy and I was actually able to do it after getting my grandma's old sewing machine and sewing for the first time in 10 years!

I also wanted to say that I love your blog and I have done so many of the things that you have posted about. Such and inspirational and helpful blog for woman who want to do things with their kids but are not good with coming up with ideas on their own. Thanks for all of the help!

I also just retweeted and FB posted Kristen's post on Fair Trade chocolate. I also have made the decision to be more deliberate in my treat choices this year and rule out Hershey's for good.

I'm waiting until someone like Lindsay Lohan has kids to get the rest of my advice.

I am hooked on Pinterest. I'm such an information junky and Pinterest just feeds my addiction. Mostly I've been influenced to try a lot of crafty and DIY projects I never would have done (or even thought of) before. (I never even knew what modge podge was!) These new diy ideas are helpful, because I'm also a big tightwad!

Can I tell you one thing I am refusing to be influenced by? Skinny jeans. Big butt girls can NOT wear skinny jeans. I can't do it. My butt is too big. No matter how many times fashion blogs or friends say it looks great on everyone, it does NOT look great on everyone.

I ordered a Pizza Hut pizza online last night because they emailed me and I was too lazy to look up the number for a local place.

And I convinced a mom in Target to buy this last week:
http://thesilico.com/products.html

She was buying those disposable applesauce pouches (like 10 of them!) and I told her about this.

OK, I love this "under the influence" idea. I may need to sponge it (crediting appropriately of course) at some point. :-)
