At a work-related meeting, I was recently made aware of a website called Tweak Today whose mission is “Do a new thing. Every day.”
That’s so Rookie Moms, I couldn’t help but think. I love missions, scavenger hunts, and the Internets. Tweak Today brings them all together. Let’s pretend the task was to take a picture of yourself in the mirror.
Check.
It couldn’t be simpler. Each day an assignment is posted. Registered users can suggest the assignments. Today it is “Give something away.” I’m thinking of taking a bag of Meyer lemons from my tree over to my neighbor’s house.
Another day, the task was “Capture something in your home, office, or in your belongings that most likely would give someone the wrong impression about you.” I’m thinking about my snowboard. If you saw it in my garage, you might think I’ve been snowboarding in the past 5 years. I most certainly have not.
You can post text, links, photos or video to document your assignment completion. I’m curious: are you guys into that sort of thing? If we provided Rookie Mom challenges would you participate?
I love little challenges and projects, I am heading over to that site NOW.
I would love to participate…but that probably would require having my own blog to post the finished activities, right? I’ve been dragging my feet on that for more than a year. Maybe that could be your first activity/challenge: create your own blog so you can participate!

I’d probably check in and pick and choose some…but I think the ideas you ladies have challenge me already! There are so many things I haven’t ever thought of…but I run right out and try them =) So yeah, I think it’s a good idea!
Sounds like a fun challenge.. as long as it’s not too hard to do. If we don’t have our own blogs, maybe we can post our photos via twitter with a #hashtag ?

That sounds like a great idea! I’m not a creative thinker even with adequate sleep. “New mommie”hood has made me even less so.
