Activity #422: Track exactly how far you’ve been walking

see mommy run, run mommy runI read about this one on See Mommy Run. You can use “Gmap Pedometer” (a fancy mash-up from the looks of it) to figure out the exact distance of your neighborhood strolls.

You can enter your city and state, then zoom and move around the map to find your route. Start marking your route by double-clicking on various points and it will tell you the mileage. How cool is that?!?

I’ll answer that: it’s super cool! I live a 1.8668 mile-walk from Whitney’s house.
