Great work ladies! My husband and I travel for a living, with kiddos, so kudos on the tips! Very wise, ladies! I must admit that I consider myself a pro, so I'm impressed with your skill! :) Thanks for the wisdom!

Instead of a Diaper genie while at the In-Law's, I use scented baggies that can be tied and thrown in the garbage can right away. They don't complain about smell, and we keep tidy!

Vaccuum pack diapers into bags if you are going away for a week or more and need quite a few, or buy the majority of the supply when you get to your destination (if possible).

iPod all your child's favorite music, and buy small speakers for it. This way, you aren't stuck for music in the car (seriously how many times can you listen to the same CD over and over), and bed time music can play when you are putting them down for the night at your destination!

Toy straps are the Godsend for soothers, snack traps, toys, and sippy cups. We never travel in the car without them, and it keeps everything within the child's reach, ergo happy child!

We keep toys at the in-laws so we don't have to bring any (read: many) with us when we go.
