Activity #74: Test drive some music classes

Most music classes for children provide a free trial class. Take advantage of these freebies before committing to a paid class. Try to talk your other mama friends into joining you so it’s the most fun for YOU.

  • Kindermusik Village classes are for babies under 18 months and each class is 45 minutes long.
  • Music Together is mixed age classes up to age five and the classes are an hour long.
  • In Berkeley, Jingle Jamboree is for ages 6 mos to 15 mos.

Did not think about trying out the freebies. Will do with second child!

Wow, I didn’t know classes exist for babies that young!

I started taking Kindermusik classes with my daughter when she was 4 months old. I do recommend the free trial to find the class where you connect best with the teacher AND the other moms in the class. Those other moms can be a great support system!

These are awesome classes… I love how you can start early — 4 months. Lisa’s right though… make sure you click with the other Moms!
