Sweet shoes

My kick is over. I didn’t shop for ANYTHING for one month. I didn’t even blog about any products because I was all anti-materialism. I even made a dress for Scarlett out of a discarded sweater of Ryan’s. I’m so green, it hurts, right?

Did I change my life? No. (I realized this morning that January is over, and I bought myself a cute charcoal grey sweatshirt-y swing coat that caught my eye while running an errand for Ryan.)

And now I learn that a whole bunch of you bloggy ladies are on a shopping diet for February. It would have been nice to have some company, but oh well…

In honor of breaking this fast, I bring you my first product mention of the year: sweet shoes. I saw these at a holiday faire of small designers and fell in love. Plus, the founding mama was selling them herself for $20, so how could I resist the opportunity to buy baby skater-style shoes for my little girl?

Scarlett has teeny tiny feet and comfortably wears 6-12 month shoes (today is her 19 month old birthday) so I was a little wary of buying shoes that seem like they’re for pre-walkers with soft soles, but they worked out fine. So f’ing cute with a dress and tights, by the way.

I’m sorry to report they are a little more expensive online, but maybe you’ll find them at a store near you.

Sweet Shoes really deserve to be the product of the year! They are the best Baby shoes out there! My little son was born 8 days ago and I am looking forward to get him his first pair of real Baby Skateboard Shoes. Son number 1 loves Sweetshoes but he´s older than 3 years now and still likes his old shoes and asks for a bigger size…
