How about http://www.twin-pregnancy-and-beyond.com/ That website has some good information about “gear” you might need and a bunch of other little things. Granted, it’s not the best website out there, but it really helped me when I couldn’t find much else on twins.

A number of friends (or friends of friends, or cousins of friends) have been getting pregnant with twins recently, and asking for pointers. How nice to have a nice concise list of resources to send them!

Another good resource is http://multiples.about.com/. The guide, Pamela, has older twins, but she keeps her thumb on issues specific to raising little multiples too.

Thanks for the HDYDI shout-out! I started that blog when my babies were six months old, because I wanted one central place to find a bunch of posts by twin moms. It makes me so happy that people find it useful! I've also been blogging since the very beginning of my pregnancy at Goddess in Progress. Now my twins are three, and have a little sister on the way! It just keeps getting wilder...

Awwwwwww, cute pics!!! I love the line, “more to having twins than buying cute onesies that say ‘Stop copying me!’” Yes there is, but the onesies are fun. Someone got me onesies that said “Frick” and “Frack” in orange. It was hilarious when one baby would be wearing the “frick” onesie and the other one had spit up on his so he wasn’t wearing the “frack” one. I got some very odd comments when I took the babies to Target while Gabe was wearing “Frick”. LOL!

oh and the How do you do it? blog was a fantastic resource when I was pregnant w/ my twins and during their first two years of life!

I’m a parent of nearly 7 year old twins and I still get twitchy when I think about those first 6 weeks; it was rough. Luckily, I found a message board run by Twins Magazine and that resource became “The Oracle” in our household. To be able to post at 3 A.M. about some-seemingly-but-not-life-threatening-infant-question and quickly read the hard-won wisdom of numerous twin parents was partly what got me through those early weeks and months.
