We were already fans of the Wii for new parents long before we heard of Wii Fit. But now, geeking out with video games and trying to be fit shredheads with Jillian are two great tastes that taste great together. Thanks to Sports Authority, we’re giving away one Wii Fit Plus Board and Jillian Michaels’ new fitness game.
Sports Authority is opening up a new Wii Fit area of their store, called the Wii Fit Plus experience, where you can go and try out some of the games. Moms having more fun? We couldn’t agree more!
If you’re anywhere near the Sports Authority in Torrance, CA on Thursday morning, Jillian Michaels will be there in person whipping folks into shape and giving away video games. The event starts at 9:30 a.m. and runs all morning.

I’ve always been a night owl, so “me time” occurs after she’s in bed and the house is tidied up. Don’t see my husband very much, as he’s an early bird. Maybe “us time” will be “Wii time?!”
Tonight I had a bit of a mommy breakdown (fussy baby + grad school group issues = fussy momma) So one of my friend came over to small group early so I could have some “me time” by actually taking a shower where I wasn’t constantly checking on my little lone who is usually sitting in her bouncy seat just outside of the opened door.
However, most days I get a little time on the morning when I wake up before her. I usually have time for breakfast and time to read a few pages. This morning I was able to get some chores done too. What a relief to feel accomplished so early in the morning.
I love my ME time at the sewing machine but it’s usually interrupted several times by bickering kids or a hungry hubby but every minute counts…right???
the only time i can find for me is early in the morning…so i brew a full pot of coffee and try to crack open my eyelids to get some reading and relaxing done… but something i just stay in bed!
I tweeted at http://twitter.com/JennatFFP/status/5848831054
I’m a first time mom, so I’m still trying to figure out how to work in some “me time” everyday. I get it during lunch and on the way home from work during the week, and on the weekends my mom is kind enough to watch my daughter so my husband and I can get out of the house.
I get up earlier than my baby, and take advantage of his naptimes.
my me time is after baby’s bed time. But that’s usually at 6:30 or so, so that’s lots of evening for fun stuff – either by myself or with my husband
Sounds awesome. Me time was getting easier with my daughter being 16 months and taking one longer nap in the afternoon, but we’re expecting a son any moment now and I am planning to join the YMCA when he’s a bit older so I can take advantage of the childcare and swim…ahhh, nothing so relaxing as the silence of swimming.
Don’t enter me as I already have the wii fit, but I have to know, does Jillian yell in the game as much as she does on TV? Call me sick, but I like that a lot more than the gentile wii fit trainers. My local SA doesn’t have the experience yet so I will have to wait to try it myself.
It’s such a small thing, but I take a hot bath and read every night before bed. I started doing it when our first baby was a few months old and it’s something I look forward to on the long days.
About once a week, I take a long lunch at work and have lunch with my husband. It’s not necessarily all by myself “me” time. But it makes me remember who I was before I became a mother.
Me time: I get up at 5 a.m. and do a workout despite being 57 lbs overweight. It is either running on the treadmill (did a 5K in Oct) or DVDs–Biggest Loser Yoga, Mari Windsor Pilates, or 30 Day Shred. I have a workout agenda per day. I had the h1n1 flu and it sidelined me. I was feeling rather anxiety ridden during those days, but now I am back to working out and making time for myself despite 3 kids, working outside of the house, illnesses for all of us, and housework. I deserve a bit of time to make me strong and happy. I am looking forward to losing weight healthful and for the long term.
I hope to attend the next “Mom’s Night Out”with my moms club group!
Sometimes I go into work a little bit early and stay a little bit late. That way I can take a longer lunch to go to the gym or spend an hour window shopping at the mall. It only adds about one hour on to the time my son is at the sitters and it gives me that little bit of time I need for myself and my sanity.
My Me time is between the hours of 430AM and 6 when I pump the morning Breastmilk while watching my Soaps that I recorded on DVR. The silence is so relaxing… too bad I have to go to work @ 7. =)
Since I only have one child at the moment, my “me time” is often during naps. I love to read, so if I don’t have anything pressing I need to do I curl up with my book as soon as my son is down. My husband is also wonderful and watches our son for me so I can have time to myself. After our son is down for the night, we have our couples time. I know this will all change when we have more than one but for now it is great!
Sunday afternoon is my me time. I love to cook so I spend the afternoon cooking one big new-recipe meal and a few other weeknight meals for the freezer. Hubby is happy to take the kid for the afternoon since he reaps the rewards of all my cooking.
I tweeted, but I can’t link it since my tweets are private. Follow me (@mrswhite14) and you’ll be able to see it!
How exciting! Just in time for Christmas.
“Me” time only comes very (very) early in the morning– when sane people should be sleeping. Give me a cup of green tea and a yoga DVD (or taking the dog for a walk) and I’m good to go for the day.
Thanks for the awesome giveaway ladies!
My “me” time happens after the kids go to bed (which is no later than 8pm) and when I have our regular babysitter come in. She’s a college student and comes in once or twice a week for a few hours during the day. Gives me a chance to run errands or sit in a coffee shop all by myself!!!!
My me time is during nap time–my daughter naps and I put on a movie for my son. I do NOT put a movie on until she is down for her nap–no need to waste precious movie time while my daughter is still awake. During that time, I nap, shower or read. I love it. And I’m usually happy to see my son when he comes in after his movie is over.
me time? what’s that?
hehe, just kidding! my favorite me time is when I am able to get both kids to nap at the same time. that time is MY time to not clean, not do laundry, not cook, but do what I want to do (which is usually catch up on my fave blogs and facebook!). I’d love to incorporate some wii fit into my me time!
I fit it “me time” when the kids go to bed! It’s the only time I can actually hear what I’m thinking in my head!
My “Me Time” is reading in bed after my son’s bedtime and before mine. And then first thing in the morning getting a whiff of my favorite bath gel in the shower.
Before Leo was born, 8 weeks ago, I made a list of 101 things to do in 1,001 days (thanks for that suggestion!). When I’m feeling disconnected, or having an identity crisis, I pull that list up and remember accomplishing the things I’ve checked off, and think of how to accomplish the rest. It reminds me that I am not just Leo’s mommy, or Mick’s wife. I am still Meghan.
Baths after LO goes to bed and reading before I go to sleep are about the only me time I get these days but it’s better than nothing!
I have started running with my baby. Even though it’s not technically ME time since he is there, I’m doing something for ME and he’s strapped into the jogging stroller so doesn’t require a lot from me. Thanks for hosting a fun giveaway!
Me time is on Monday mornings when my husband has off work. Sadly, a friend’s son was a police officer murdered while on duty and the trial is taking place. My me time is driving to court on Monday mornings with my radio blaring and supporting my friends during this difficult time. I couldn’t do this with out my Husband and can think of no better way to support my friends.
cool! thank you for the giveaway!
My me time is when she is at preschool. I have time to work out at the newest 24hr fitness that just opened up. Then I can catch up on my DVR shows.
I really enjoy my “me time” at naptime or after bedtime. It gives me a chance to catch up on my email or just relax.
My me time usually occurs at night. I usually stay up later than my husband.

My me time is on the weekends when my husband is home to watch the kids. I love just going shopping all by myself!
ME time is the few hours I have to myself after everyone goes to bed.

As I am writing this at 3:16 a.m., it is clear that my ME time is anytime after the rest of my house is tucked in bed.
my neighbors and I trade off kids every other week so that we can have me time.
Finding Me time has actually gotten much easier now that my boys are in school. When they were younger, I would relish the times when they napped by taking a nice hot bath or enjoying a cup of hot tea.
I go in my bedroom and read a book
My Me Time is when Tristan takes a nap.
I find me time afte the kids go to bed.
My “me time” either happens during his nap or after he is put to bed at night. Thanks for the chance to win, I think this DVD would keep me motivated.

Sometimes it is really hard to find me time when you are a parent. My kids are older now and I can tell you that you should really enjoy your kids while they are young! The time passes in a blink of an eye.
I always tried to get a little “me” time while they were napping or after they went down for the night.
My Me time is after everyone is in bed. It works great for lots of things but not exercise. I’m too beat by that time.
I follow and tweeted http://twitter.com/annedoggett/status/5977170274
i go to the spa!!
I lock myself in the basement and hope they cant find me. LOL
I put my kids to sleep around nine. That is when my free time begins.I can relax and read a book and sip on some hot tea.
