Between my husband starting our pot roast before going to work and these easy clean-up liner things [meaning that my dinner was ready and on the table at 6pm AND I didn't have to scrub any pot], it almost makes up for the hour and a half Milo and I spent at the Berkeley Bowl yesterday. Almost.
after reading this and the “declare crock pot night” post, i went out to buy a crock pot today. i’m getting really sick of eating/ordering out, so i’m hoping this thing will work some miracles, at least a couple times a week! can you recommend any other good recipes?
Actually Michelle, I just today ran across this month of slow cooker recipes on momadvice.com, which, by my calculation should really last 4 months if you count leftovers. I might give that a go.
I also have been using the cookbook Whitney bought me, Not Your Mothers Slow Cooker Cookbook and there are some recipes that come with the crock pot itself and also in the box of liner thingies!
