I would add cotton breast pads, water/snacks, and cute photos of your baby (to help with letdown). Sometimes I packed my baby’s onesie in my bag too – one sniff of his sweet scent and the milk was flowing!

I forget caps for my milk bottles at least once a week! There are also nifty Medela steam clean bags you can pop in microwave for a quick clean between uses at work.

Good point, Melissa! There were no iPhones when I pumped at work (LeapFrog) but there were women’s magazines that I browsed and there was a phone in the “Maternity” closet, so I would call my SAHM friends and chat.

For those that pump often (I pumped every day, 8 times a day for 4 months…) I would add entertainment: book, iphone games, ipad, etc. I don’t know what I would have done had I not had the entertainment while attached to my electronic baby!
