I guess this is just advanced peek-a-boo, but we’re filling afternoons with it in my house! It goes like this:
Either I crawl on the other side of the couch from Milo calling out, “where’s Mommy?” and wait for him to find me, or he toddles away and I call out “where’s Milo?” and whoever’s hiding gets found.
He LOVES this. And I have delusions of this activity being helpful when we’re out and about because he’ll stop in his tracks whenever I’m calling out, “Where’s [insert your name here]?”… but maybe instead, he’ll hide beneath the clothing racks or bookcases where I’ll never find him. Stay tuned.

This one is still a firm favourite with our four year old, even though her giggling gives her hiding place away evry time!
Everytime my hubby plays this with our 1 year old son and 4 years old daughter, the house will be filled with screaming and laughter. Both of them are very excited. This is a good yet simple way for family bonding. No need to be a long session, just some 15 to 20 minutes is good enough.
That’s a fun game that they never get tired of!
