Modern technology makes the super personalized thank you notes almost too easy to create and send. Do them one at a time or by the box. Buy the box. Ha!
My mom gave us the gift of a fantastic jogging stroller sent directly to our house in Berkeley, so she never got to see the baby locked, loaded, and loving it. We took lots of pictures and, to further show our gratitude, Holden wrote her a personal note.
This stroller rocks. My daddy loves it. And mommy loves for us to leave for a while.
All the online card stores allow you to create custom postcards or folding cards and some will even mail them for you, so it won’t just sit around your house waiting to get mailed until it’s embarrassingly too late to send! (This happens to me more than 50% of the time. My intentions are good, but my ability to find a stamp is terrible.)
If you would rather send an email with your thanks, here’s our tutorial on turning one of your photographs into a thank you card.
What gift did you receive that will make a great photo when your child shows how much he or she enjoys it? I think this baby is really digging his new hat.
Another way to use photos of your baby to deliver greetings by email for an easy Thank You or Happy Birthday or I’m Sorry with high cuteness factor.
Here’s how to do it:
- Assemble notecard, sharpie, and idea
- Write brief note
- With camera at the ready, place the note on or near baby
- Email adorable, personal greeting to recipient
