I'm the same as you, I usually can't commit to any long term Do-Without kind of program. But I did do the No-Shop month last April and it was surprisingly easy. I decided to repeat that again this past month and did pretty well until last week when I was up to 'here' with kids and took myself to the bookstore and spent $50 on retail therapy. I also did a week without wheat during the summer too. That was tough but I did loose 3 pounds and I didn't feel nearly as bloated and full as I can be.

I've restrained myself to one non-water drink per day. It might be tea in the morning or a Coke with dinner, but otherwise I am all about water with a slice of lemon in it. I find that I drink way more (which is good!) and I eat less (also good!) this way.
