I am that Joel and I am deeply moved.
The School is PS1 Pluralistic School.
My wife and I started PS1 in 1971. I am still the Head of School.
In May, we had over 1000 people at our 40th Anniversary celebration.

Perhaps it would have even if I hadn’t been another of Whitney’s teachers in that little schoolhouse. I like to think that Rookie Moms was born in that little schoolhouse in Santa Monica, and who knows what else is being born there every day–since we’re still there?!
