Maclaren goes wheel-free and organic

Two of the coolest chicks I met at BlogHer this year were Erin and Rachael from TodaysMama.com. So when Rachael asked if I would take a look at some new baby and mama products from Maclaren, I just wanted to say yes, simply because I like Rachael. Also, I have had the same Maclaren stroller for nearly five years and completely trust them as a brand. (Believe me, I work in marketing, and I do not say this about many brands.) Hey! Did you notice I just said “believe me”? I am clearly presuming that you trust ME as a brand. And you should!

The goodies I received from Maclaren include belly massage oil for moms-to-be, powder and ointment for baby’s bootie, and bar soap for baby’s little bod. Additionally, there was a relaxing spray, intended to be used in the nursery to create a calming, spa-scented environment for sleeptime. When I sprayed it into the air, my children ran underneath it and laughed when they felt the moisture. No need to worry about spraying the kids; this stuff is chemical-free. I felt like I was in a commercial for happy children.

The packaging is lovely, making these fancy organic bath products a gift you can feel good about giving. If it weren’t for the price (upwards of $59 for a trio of items), I’d probably pair this package with a towel or this cute book about wrapping babies.

I was just telling someone yesterday how I never thought I’d get so excited about a stroller– and then Mason was big enough to use our Maclaren stroller. *sigh* Ah, how life changes!

At any rate, yay for Maclaren branching out into other products! Now lets just get them to work on those price points a bit…
