I am really looking forward to celebrating my daughter’s very First Birthday (picnic theme, hence me wanting to win this BADLY) at our favorite neighborhood park!!! Since we finally had a nice day this week, we went to the park and Amelie LOVED IT! It was her first time at the swings!!! (video on my fb profile) I took the opportunity to scope out the perfect spot for her birthday celebration and found a great space with a bunch of trees right by the playground area!!! How perfect is that??? We love our park of choice because we meet many babies, mommies and daddies while there and because it is very well kept… our park makes us proud.
we had really nice picnics last year along the various bike trails in pittsburgh. my favorite spot was when we biked to the water steps and had a picnic in between splashes.
I can’t wait to take my son for a picnic at Picnic Point in Madison. My husband and I went to college there, so it’ll be fun to show him that area.
We just had a picnic under the kitchen table since our weather has been cold and rainy forever!

Since I still consider us new to the bay area. My favorite place to picnic right now is on the beach in Pacifica or Half Moon Bay. My kids love the beach, it wears them out, and it’s the perfect place to pack a lunch.

There’s a park here in town with a fountain in the center, surrounded by a little lawn and rose bushes. There’s a low wall around the lawn area so it feels like a little secret garden. Booboo and I have picnicked there many a time, looking forward to heading back (although here in GA it’s been picnic weather for a while already!)
We love to picnic at Sioux park & then dip our feet in the creek behind it. so nice!

Between LeConte and Arch north of campus is a little religious school with a nice little lawn. Beautiful place for a picnic.

Franklin Park in Alameda, CA. The park is shaded with beautiful trees and it’s next too a safe, fenced in playground and grass field. It’s in the middle of a gorgeous neighborhood filled with Victorain homes. Love it!
