We are always looking to invent “games” that are a take-off on the doggie game Fetch. We fire off stomp rockets and the kids chase them; we fire off balsa wood gliders and the kids chase them; Alec kicks a playground ball as far as he can and — you guessed it — the kids chase it. I also like to use a set of cheap-o cones to create an obstacle course for bike practice.

Cori, they sent the bean bags and chalk, plus a jump rope, a wooden airplane to fly and chase, a cool catch game with a koosh-style ball and frisbee-sized catching devices, and a few other things. I didn’t bust everything out at once, cause, you know, it’s not xmas.
