This is so cute! What’s really funny is this year my 2yr old picked Foofa and I did almost the same thing. I bought a sweatshirt w/ a graphic on it — but I cut the sleeves off and replaced the graphic w/ one sleeve and then made a hat out of the other. Great minds think alike! I’m glad I saw this after cause I’d sure hate to be a copycat.

How do you overcome the potential terror of designing this whole outfit only to have Halloween fall on a day when she feels, say, a little bit more ladybug than Foofa?

I really like this idea. And I think it will work for a Jack O’Lantern costume. Just need to find an orange sweatshirt.
