You’ve got a right collection there. My son loves your Tom & Jerry costume. He used to have a similar one that was Scooby Doo but the head was so big and lollopy that he hardly ever wore it. We also had a dragon one – he loved that. We’ve moved on a bit now though and I had to have my first go at face painting the other day. I stupidly thought that it would be easy, especially as I was only doing a camo design, but he ended up looking a bit like a panda the first time round! Thank goodness I wasn’t trying to do anything that was supposed to be intricate!

wow I want a dress up box for me! made by you, of course these are all good things to look forward to as my 6 month old gets older and older (usually im a little bummed by the thought of him getting so big)!

First of all, I love the dress up collection, and am impatient to build ours- our son is only two and our first child (and the first grandchild) so we’re just starting out. Secondly, I just want to say that my favorite part of the whole post was the adult in the Waldo costume- epic!

Brandi, the helmet was originally $40, but then we saw it listed for $4.99 right after Halloween. The very same helmet! It’s a piece of plastic $&^% frankly, but the kids do love to put it on. (My son received it for Christmas, not Halloween.)

Impressive collection. My kid’s dress up stash focuses on the hero genre, fireman, police, superhero, and chef…chefs are heros, right?

There is also a heavy concentration on cowboy and pirate.

We made a trip to Goodwill this morning and it was stocked with dress up options. I’m heading back this weekend to stock up when I don’t have a runaway toddler with me.

My kids costume stash looks pretty similar and not a day goes by that they aren’t into it dressed up as a firefighter or a pirate or a dinosaur.
Where did you get the astronaut helmet? I am on the hunt for one right now and have only found one online and wasn’t sure it was worth the $40. This year for Halloween my 3 year old wants to be an astronaut and I found a super cute rocket costume for his one year old brother today at Target to go along with it…
