Immaculate Baking: the easy way out

Of course I was excited to receive a box of 240 cookies on my doorstep last week (even if baking was required). As soon as the boys were in bed, I ripped into it. Yeah, I’m that kind of mom still, I don’t share with the little ones very often.

We chose triple chocolate chunk for our first taste test. Only 70% Organic (the others were USDA certified), so I felt a little dangerous. I read the package for instructions and it said “serving size: 2″ and I was a little more excited.

When I opened the package of Immaculate Baking take and bakes and saw the teeny weeny cookie nuggets, I had to stifle a laugh and run over to the blogosphere and chronicle my true first impressions. They’re mini so I sorta stopped feeling guilty about having two.

=== time warp. cookies baking. 10 to 14 minutes. doo doo doo doo. ===

Baking these little guys in the toaster oven is perfect for my attention span. Preheat is a non-event so it’s faster from idea of cookie to ingestion of cookie. If you can time it Just Right, you will get a hot and gooey cookie (or 2 or 3) that goes perfectly with some vanilla ice cream.

Since last week, I gave Whitney the oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip (that’s 4 dozen cookies that won’t be on my mind or my belly this month) and kept the peanut butter and sugar cookie for further testing. All flavors are good but for the most delectable taste experience, you must eat them exactly 2 minutes after they stop cooking.

Check out Immaculate Baking and find out why these are cookies with a cause.
