We recently had our 3rd baby, too, and finally 10 weeks in I'm feeling like I'm starting to get a handle on things! :) My older kids are 5 and 3. Hehe... lower expectations! I can relate. And I agree that simplifying the morning routine is key. My 5 year old is not a stellar tooth-brusher, but on some mornings either she does it herself or it doesn't get done. By the way, I've found this Mom’s Guide to have some good tips on taking care of kids' teeth. Seriously, that's one of those areas I can't wait for them to be independent in! Enjoy your baby! I can tell by your picture that you have a very helpful big sis in your house, too!

this is all GOOD to know. although our baby is 6 months old, the thought of doing it all again - with a toddler - seems very, very daunting! this makes it feel a little more doable and something to look forward to :)

Thank-you, expecting number 3 in 9 weeks and loved getting the insight and advice. We also have the same mix pretty much, 7 year-old girl in 2nd grade, 4 year-old preschooler boy and now a boy. Don't remember the 2nd one going as smooth, so hope with them older and me home and not stressing myself out over it all, it goes easier this time around. Plan on using your ideas to help too. Was so glad to see this today.

This is great. I also love the white board idea. When my son started preschool I acquired mesh bags and the night before we pick his clothes out and stick everything he needs for the day in his mesh bag. In the morning he knows exactly where everything is! Thanks for the tips!
