This post is right on. My kid is about 3 months, while my friend’s is only 1 month. After I witnessed the generosity of others, I knew she’d need me (I have my family all around while she does not). I am sending her the link to this site now!
A few friends had babies before me, and I barely did a thing for them. After Lucas was born, I would be cooking up meals and things for new moms that I knew. Another thing I did a few times is ask people if I could do some shopping for them. Sometimes new moms don’t need a casserole, they just need someone to pick up some cat food or more burp cloths!
