I just took my 3mo old daughter to a friends pool with hubby. Just up to her belly. She screamed for about 5min but then was okay. I think it was the water temp. But she loves bath time so I knew she would eventually warm up to the pool. Can't wait to take her to the beach next month!!!

My daughter went for her first swim at 11 weeks old! She's now 4 months old & has been swimming 4 times. She LOVES it. Photo on my blog of her playing in her kiddie pool. :) The hardest part for her? Same thing as it is for me - getting peeled out of a wet, clingy swimsuit! :)

Swim diaper. Didn't know those existed the first time I took Knight "swimming." Second time, my cousin had an extra one, and things were much less bloated.
It also took me quite a few pee-outs before she suggested I point the baby's penis down in the diaper.
There is so much I didn't know I didn't know!!

This is a MUST in Texas! We've been going swimming every other day, although it is a total circus. I put my 17 mo. old in a sling side hold while I carry a diaper bag, a swim bag, and a pool toy (beach ball, floatie, noodle, etc.). I need to work on minimizing our stash, and figure out which one of all the toys he prefers so I don't look like a crazy person!

My 3rd DD HATED baths until we took her swimming with her sisters. I had my hubby to help though since there are 3 of them. I consider it a pivotal moment though because I now can bathe all 3 of them at once :)
