I feel like this game goes backwards in my home. My kids get excited about something and need to point it out to me a few times before I get out of my grown-up head space and am like “wow those leaves really are amazing”. Lucky for me, they are persistent and never stop pointing out the amazing-in-the-everday to me.

Sometimes I’ve discussed so many thing enthusiastically with my 8 month old that my face hurts by the end of the day.

When I was in high school my friend’s little brother would play this game with trucks. Every time he saw one he would get excited and yell “Big trucker!” Except that he couldn’t quite pronounce “tr” properly and it came out as an “f”. We would die laughing every time.

We do this all the time when we have a long drive, but we look for trucks. It never gets old for our 22 mth old. We’re starting with colours (a RED truck) but he doesn’t know them yet.
