I love kids & dogs. However, the two groups can be unpredictable and don't always mix well. Please follow rules of safety to keep baby & dog safe & happy:
1) Keep your child out of reach from strange dogs. If you're at a dog park, stay behind the fence and look in from a safe distance. If you're walking down the street together, stay a safe distance from a dog "tied" up on the sidewalk.
2) Do not let your child pet a strange dog. Even if it looks cute. Even if it comes right up to you.
3) Do not let your little child hand- feed dogs (little fingers could get caught)
4) When petting known dogs, avoid touching the dogs' face and head. Pet the back, belly, or chest area. Always be with your child, and the pet owner, and pet the dog together so that you can monitor the situation.
Enjoy.
