I’m with Kristin, I’d like to see more two mom families and two dad families represented in children’s books. My son has a Mommy and Daddy, but we have very close friends who are two Mommies. I want my son to see these loving relationships represented in books and television so he does not question differences as he gets older.

Maybe it already exists (and I just haven’t looked hard enough), but I would love a book where the toddler loves going to daycare and the working mama isn’t made to feel guilty or like a bad mommy from any of the influences. Sigh. (Reflecting on the insenstive comment directed at me today). Perhaps I’ll write it myself…

I love it…I work partime and the girls have daycare days and grandma days, mama days and mama and daddy days…so I love a book that describes how different families do different things.

I would love to have a book about living in a different country, and/or why mom and dad speak different languages, why they don’t speak the official language as well as the children etc.
I love the underwear!
