Do you guys know about Totsy? Totsy is an online private-sale site dedicated to offering apparel, gear, accessories and more for moms, babies and kids ages 0-8.
Today they’re offering Rookie Moms readers a chance to win this diaper bag. Yee-haw!
Here’s what I like about it: GENDER NEUTRAL!
There are simply not enough gender-neutral baby tools in this world. My husband, who is not afraid to shop for me, paint my daughter’s toenails (or his own for the entertainment of our children), has often complained that the designers of reusable shopping totes, slings, and diaper bags are discouraging men from using them with their feminine designs. He’s all for babywearing, but has wondered what’s up with the trendy floral patterns. So I know that if we were in the market for a new diaper bag, he’d probably nominate this Baby Sherpa Diaper Backpack.
If you’d like to win it, just tell us one awesome thing about your baby’s daddy in the comments field below. (If no daddy, tell us one awesome thing about your partner or yourself!)
On Friday November 11, I’ll pick a winner at random to receive the Baby Sherpa Diaper Backpack, which retails for $89.99, courtesy of Totsy.
Thanks, Totsy, for this fun giveaway! If you guys want to follow them on Facebook, I bet they’d like it a lot. Also? You get free shipping on your first order after you sign up here.

My SO is great with babies and is willing to take care of them at night so I can get some semblance of sleep! I have twins due in December and he was wanting a backpack just like this, and with the twins he says he wants his OWN diaper bag!
he’s the sweetest, most caring guy- baby and I ate lucky to have him!
My baby daddy washes the dishes every night and takes out the trash without being asked. He’s very nice, just like that backpack I REALLY need for all my upcoming travels with baby.
He isn’t afraid of poopie diapers.
My baby’s daddy is never afraid or too busy to get on the floor and play with my son. Love that!
He took 4 weeks of unpaid leave from his job when I went back to mine to bond with and care for our daughter. He can pack the diaper bag, find the best parks, give her baths and cook us all dinner. He is a true partner for me and a great dad to our daughter, we’re both lucky to have him!
He gets down and plays legos!
He helps out with the dreaded diaper changes.
My darling husband delights in our daughter and does whatever needs to be done. From dishes, food prep and feeding, noses, diapers, kissing owies, walks, baths, park time, play time, bedtime, etc. He darn near does it all and we’re so thankful for him!
He is great with kids!
We have twins and he has helped out since day one. He does it all. So blessed to have him for a husband and they are to have him for a father.
One awesome thing about me is I can accomplish all the daily tasks all by myself all while entertaining and playing with my baby girl
My husband helps out around the house, but he also takes my 3 year old to hockey and baseball games and gives my daughter a nice with Daddy and me a bit of a break.
He takes care of me… which in turn helps me take care of our son! He tells me that I am beautiful (even though, I know I have changed), and shows me he loves me everyday. He took time off when our son was sick in the hospital at 6 weeks, and post-poned his thesis research to support me in the hospital! He is an awesome daddy!
My husband/father of our two sons is great at helping when we go on trips both near and far. He is great at helping get them dressed to leave and helping get them in and out of their seats. The only thing he won’t do is carry the diaper bag and that is because he claims its too feminine and looks like a purse. Having this backpack would make it so he would start carrying the bag for me, which would be great because I just had knee surgery!
I work 12 hour nights shifts so my husband has had to stay with our son at night and wake up with him and then get up the next morning. He has been my biggest advocate for breastfeeding (my son is now 7 months old.) Basically, he is the father I wish I had. He plays with our son and snuggles him. I am so thankful I chose te right spouse and father for my child.
I have yet to change a diaper when he’s home, he’s kept the rest of our house running these last 4wks since she was born, and he has been the best cheerleader with DD and my breastfeeding struggles. I would be lost without him!
My husband is a daddy-to-be and is just awesome as a supporter and friend, and is so sweetly excited about our baby which is due in March. He is always the voice of reason and calms me when i’m freaking out, and is always ready to hug and listen. I am so proud of him and how excited he is to become a daddy!
He is a great cook! Not only does he make their baby food, but as they get older, we have 3, he loves the kids in the kitchen philosophy!
He takes then to the market, teaches them safety, we always go apple, berry and orchard picking. All meals are prepared with respect to the holidays, the 4 seasons and the 4 food groups! They learn so many valued life skills in doing so as well.
On the other hand, I have assumed the related roles of etiquette and manners!
Baby’s Daddy gets the small one up every morning while I sleep for another half an hour. And he puts him to bed, too. He’s AWESOME. Love him lots.
My babies’ daddy gets up with our kids every day. Every day!
he COULD NOT be more excited for the day that we find out we’re expecting!!
We have 3 boys under 3. I couldn’t do any of it without my husband. One of the many, many wonderful things he does is take any nightly wake ups. Priceless.
My husband rocks because he gets up in the middle of the night to change the baby so I can get a couple more minutes of sleep. He does so much for us and doesn’t complain!
He does bath time every night!
My husband has been so active in the lives of our twins since day one. He does anything for them. He’s even helped raise my daughter from a previous relationship since she was an infant. He lives family time, and with a bag like this, we could really enjoy family time out and about!
My husband is the most respectful, caring, and loyal man in the world. He bends over backwards for me to make sure that my pregnancy is going as smoothly as possible. I truely feel as though I got the greatest gift from God when we married and we cannot wait to see the life that we have created. We have been trying to find a “Daddy bag” for him to carry–I know that this would really bring his dimples out
He is the best bundler, I never have to worry about them being cold when he’s around! He also reads the girls Bible stories at night
My husband is in the first year of his phd program and works part time to allow me to stay home with our 2 1/2 yr old and 4 month old! Just today he came home to study between classes and saw I was having a hard time and ended up throwing the baby in the ergo and did his work walking around! I love him:)
My husband is the hardest-working person I know! He’s working full time and going back to school to get his bachelor’s. I’m so proud of him and the way he provides for our (growing) family. We’re expecting our second in May.
My husband/baby-daddy is The Best for so many reasons, but just to pick one at random: he’s a nurse who works with newborns/preemies, so when we had our first baby & I was trying to figure the whole thing out, he was already an expert at swaddling, diapering, soothing, all that, and babies love him; he really saved the day! Now we have #2 on the way!
My husband is a Super Dad. He cleans, cooks, takes care of kids, fixes everything in the house and is super loving. I’m lucky to have him.
One great thing about my partner:
She changes diapers in the middle of the night-and lots of other times too.
I just love the way my daughter’s face absolutely lights up whenever she sees him – she’s a smiley little one, but she has a special smile reserved just for her daddy, and it melts my heart every time i see it!
My SAHD husband can make our 2 year old laugh so hard she snorts.
There are so many things my wonderful husband does, but he is so great with our son. Plays with him, feeds him, baths him, can do it all. I’m lucky to be able to go out without them, and know that they will both be fine! Now number 2 on the way
My Husband is a full time Chemical Engineering Student at Cal and works on the weekends AND he does all of this so that our family will have a beautiful future and so that I can stay at home everyday with our beautiful baby girl.
My husband is always in the mood to entertain!! I don’t know how he does it, but I so appreciate it!!
He tells me that my job is to breastfeed. He takes care of everything else. He washes bottles, pump parts, etc. He freezes milk. He calls himself the Breastmilk Manager. We love him!
My girl’s Daddy is amazing! He tells her she’s beautiful every day and they have a dance together every day when he gets home from work! It makes my heart happy.
He’ll bounce the baby in his arms… And she falls asleep in record time. He calls it ‘daddy magic’bb
No one can make our little girl smile and laugh like daddy!
my husband is so great with our son,he takes over at nite for me and the weekends,so I can go have time to myself,I wouldn’t want anyone else to raise my son
He works super long hours but the minute he walks in the door he is ready for baby time. And he’s the king of diapers!
He takes my son to preschool every day even though it has been tough transition. He always answers the phone when we call him at work. He fixes everything. He fills up my gas tank.
My husband makes the face of our son light up, from the moment he walks in the door, until the baby’s head hits the mattress! They have a mutual adoration!
My husband rocks at putting our 3 month to bed at night. He can also find ways to make him laugh like crazy! He will be staying home with him in January and would love this bag. I tried to pick a neutral bag, but this one looks way cooler
My husband takes over much of the time on weekends…plus he cooks many great meals for us!
My husband is great – as we get ever closer to the due date of our first baby he is helping me out whenever I need it, encouraging me at all times, and making me laugh when things get a little rough. Plus, he’s already picked out Halloween costumes for himself and the baby next year – he: Robin, baby: Batman. Who couldn’t love a guy like that?!?
He stays up late with our little guy so I can get sleep. And he’s a great cook! Thanks for the chance to win
