Do you guys know about Totsy? Totsy is an online private-sale site dedicated to offering apparel, gear, accessories and more for moms, babies and kids ages 0-8.
Today they’re offering Rookie Moms readers a chance to win this diaper bag. Yee-haw!
Here’s what I like about it: GENDER NEUTRAL!
There are simply not enough gender-neutral baby tools in this world. My husband, who is not afraid to shop for me, paint my daughter’s toenails (or his own for the entertainment of our children), has often complained that the designers of reusable shopping totes, slings, and diaper bags are discouraging men from using them with their feminine designs. He’s all for babywearing, but has wondered what’s up with the trendy floral patterns. So I know that if we were in the market for a new diaper bag, he’d probably nominate this Baby Sherpa Diaper Backpack.
If you’d like to win it, just tell us one awesome thing about your baby’s daddy in the comments field below. (If no daddy, tell us one awesome thing about your partner or yourself!)
On Friday November 11, I’ll pick a winner at random to receive the Baby Sherpa Diaper Backpack, which retails for $89.99, courtesy of Totsy.
Thanks, Totsy, for this fun giveaway! If you guys want to follow them on Facebook, I bet they’d like it a lot. Also? You get free shipping on your first order after you sign up here.

He’s GREAT at diaper changes, feeding the baby, and best of all play and cuddle time!
I love that he sings to our son, everything from “if you want to be a badger…” , one of our college fight songs to Faith by George Michaels. This bag would be great for our first flight with baby for visiting my parents for the holidays!
No daddy in our house, but my wife is an amazing mommy
My husband and baby’s daddy is always willing to help out in any way I need. There is nothing that is off limits.
My husband always remembers to take out the diapers on trash day. He helps with EVERYTHING and we’re very lucky.
My baby daddy, that is Mommy #2, also hates anything girly. We have the very common orange and grey Columbia backpack you see everywhere. Would love to have something more unique and BIGGER. Thanks!
No matter how tired my husband is after work he still will hold his baby girl to give me a break when he comes in.
My husband went the extra mile in re-arranging his work schedule so he is home every day by 3 o’clock to take care of our little girl and make dinner so I can work in the afternoons and evenings. He’s wonderful!
We are expecting our first child due in January and a few months ago, when I had one of those moments when you’re not sure what’s gonna happen to your life both mentally and financially, my husband hugged me and said “We’ve got this!” It was so sweet! It still brings me comfort when I start thinking about being in labor in 8 short weeks…
My husband’s wonderful in so many ways but one of my favorites is when the baby wakes up at 5:00 (or earlier) and he gives him a bottle so I can sleep in a little bit!
My husband is always willing to sing a silly song or play ‘bocks’ with our son. It makes me so thankful to watch them play together!
I love that he gets up with me in the middle of the night (still) to calm the baby so I can go to the bathroom before a nursing session.
Even after a difficult bedtime, he still wants to look at and show me pictures of our kids to gush over. Unconditional love and smitten-ness, for sure!
He may not have held the baby in his arms yet (I’m not due until 3/29/12) but he loves to talk to the baby – and like I’m not even in the room!!! Just the excitement that he has about becoming a father is beautiful!!
He loves telling everyone how putting him to bed (and giving momma a break
is “the best part of his day!”
I love how my boys love him so much! Their faces just light up when he comes home from work, and he always is patient with them (much more than I am, some times!)
He is so amazingly patient with them and never complains about how intense parenting can be. I love that attitude.
Hi enthusiasm about our 3yo and the little one on the way. He is such a wonderful daddy.
I love that he reads and talks to my baby belly! Shows what kind of dad he will be.
My husband is an amazing dad – he rocks my son to sleep most every night, and always stops what he’s doing to give him a hug.
He loves playing with kids. Last weekend he made accessories for his and my older daughter’s pirate costumes and they played for hours.
Every night when he gets home from work, the first thing he does is play what we call “the smile game” with our son, who loves the attention from Daddy.
My husband is also a painter of little girl’s toenails
My husband bought our twins matching ACDC shirts for our first family photo….. even though we don’t know the sex of them yet! He said that if either one of them ends up being a girl, he will personally bedazzle them with sparkly gems.
My baby’s daddy has moore patience & gentleness than I’ve ever seen!
My loving husband is definitely his baby girl’s court jester. Even though he comes home from work late at night, he always manages to make her giggle and smile. No one can toss her up in the air or bounce her up and down like Daddy can! SMILE!
My sweet husband has a way of turning the crankiest kid into a giggling child. Nobody can snap our kids out of a funk like he can!
Please don’t count this as an entry because I already own one of these bags, purchased on ebay three years ago before taking a 2yr-old and a 4-yr-old on a plane trip to Mexico. By myself.
It was awesome then and it still awesome now for longer daytrips, like going to the zoo, going to all-day tournaments, Renaissance Fairs, amusement parks, etc. I heart it. Good luck to all the entrants!
He watches the baby for a few hours three times a weak and I get to do my fun stuff like dance class or movies or get my nails done
Daddy works super hard for us, especially since I started staying home full time.
My husband is so great with our toddler. And he wins me over every time he offers to take care of her if she wakes up during the night.
I love it that he can playfully diffuse tantrums when my 3-year-old is pushing every single one of my buttons (plus some!).
My husband has been stepping up and getting up with the kids in the mornings, which is great because I work nights! Thanks for hosting!
Even after returning to work after the birth of our daughter, my husband has been willing to get up with her every night between 2am and 6am, when needed. He knows how much I value my sleep and this assures I get some rest each night. This means he often works a full day on about 4 hrs sleep, comes home and cooks dinner for us. And he doesn’t complain!!!! He’s a life saver
My hubby takes care of my toddler son completely as I am expecting second one soon. Its great to have such a caring husband.
The other day I emerged from the bathroom to find my husband playing charades with our two month old. They were both smiling and laughing like fiends.
The kids never laugh so hard as they do with their dad.
He’s a constant participant in their lives- sickness, health, international space station sightings…
Even as I write this he’s taking 2/3 of our offspring (baby and toddler) to church while (sickly) 1/3 and I hang out in pajamas.
We’re facing some (more) serious medical issues with one of kids, so I regularly see his fortitude and devotion.
Daddy is the “mommy” in our house – he stays home with the kids while I go out to work. As well as childcare, he cooks, cleans, shops, does laundry, and pretty much takes on everything life throws at him!
I love that even when it gets hard my baby’s father is still there. That even though he himself never had a father or a male role model he tries to be the best father to our son that he can be. I know my son will be proud of his father and grateful for all he has done for him.
My husband has been so helpful during my pregnancy and is so beyond excited for our first baby to come in a few weeks…I know he’d love carrying this bag instead of my pretty floral print ones
My husband helps out with everything – diaper changes, burping, soothing our baby when he’s crying, washing bottles and pump parts. He also helps prepare my meals and gives me a break when I need one.
The best thing about my baby’s daddy is that he is me.
My husband (aka Cameron’s Daddy) is so great! Ever since Cam was born 6 months ago, he has helped so much around the house with cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc. He also works very hard to provide for us! He is the best
.
Our dad is Great! He is fun, loving, faithful, and forgiving. He is adventurous and loves the outdoors. We have great experiences with our dad through play! We love our dad.
My husband advocates for co-sleeping and baby-wearing when we’re around other parents! The best part is he didn’t know anything about either before we had our son. He wasn’t sure about all my natural ideas but now he’s all for them!
I love that my husband has introduced our daughter to his hobbies and interests, and that the two of them have found activities to do together. Hilarious to see them react in the same manner. Watching them enjoy this quality time together is priceless! We can’t wait for our 2nd baby to join in!
He works hard so we can be at home and he is an amazing father and husband that would do anything he could for us.
