Get the Cliff’s Notes for parenting

Siblings Without Rivalry, 1-2-3 Magic, Babyproofing Your Marriage, 101 Ways to Help Your Daughter Love Her Body. This is a short list of parenting books I haven’t read but sound valuable. Will I ever read them? Not sure. A book… you know, it just has so many… pages.

Someone figured me out and developed ParentsDigest, a service that summarizes parenting books into 8 page PDFs and sends them to you in email. They read the books so that we don’t have to, they assure us.

I skimmed the nicely designed PDF about Babyproofing Your Marriage and learned within 30 seconds that the key to that book is “The Five Minute Fix” which means blowing, um, your husband’s mind (wink wink) with generosity, so that he will feel appreciated and have a positive attitude toward household responsibilities.
