I think I'll have to implement a mat or something (when I say I'm laid back, I also mean that I don't mop frequently.) when my second daughter gets old enough to hang with this idea. BTW- I just found this site about a week or so ago, and I LOVE IT! What a great idea! As laid back as I’ve been raising my first, I don’t know how I missed this. What a great idea! I literally just finished picking up itty bitty pieces of squash from a first time on-floor feeding experiment with my nearly 7 month-old who has it in for solid food. Thought I'd try and trick him, since he loves to put things in his mouth that he finds on the floor. No cigar though, he figured out it was food. Funny.
