I know, I’m a total weak mommy, but I make my hubby do it any time we have to babysit.

I don’t think my daughter was babysat by anyone but family for 2 years. She was a horribly cranky miserable baby and I just knew that no one else would want to deal with her when I barely did, and I was her MOM! As a second time mom (of a momma’s boy whose anti-babysitting), I wish I’d gone out on a limb and trusted a friend to watch her. She may have cried the entire time and needed to be held, but she’d have done the same at home and I’m not the only person who can deal with holding a cranky baby, especially if it’s only for an hour. I would have been a better mom with a little more time off!
