A trick I learned online is if you think you see a very faint line but you’re not sure, take a digital photo of the test and then in photoshop do a “color enhance” for whatever color the line is supposed to be. I had one of those “one red line means no, two red lines means yes” tests and as soon as I enhanced the red, that second line just jumped out. And yes, when I was trying to conceive I bought pregnancy tests online for under $2 per test strip.

Be careful reading them too far outside of 3 minutes though. Positive lines that show up after the test window can be an evaporation line, not a real positive!

I would like to add “Don’t buy expensive pregnancy tests/; to that advice – Dollar Store tests work just as well. Or the cheap-o test strips you can buy in bulk (Yes, we buy pregnancy tests in bulk… We’re an NFP family, it’s how we roll )!
