I spent months 2 and 3 with my son in a carrier, walking all around the city because it was the only way he would nap. Our two hour walks together were great bonding time, I got light errands done, and I lost that babyweight fast! Definitely get a supportive carrier though---the Ergo was the only one that didn't kill my back!
