By now your baby is actually cute, right? Consider getting notecards or something commemorative for the grandparents from ofoto.com or Shutterfly. Notecards make great thank you notes, invitations, or announcements.
Also, if you’ve been emailing jpegs to all your friends and family, quit it already and set up some albums you can share. “Yes, your baby is the most beautiful ever, but quit clogging my in-box,” they’re thinking.

These sites have many interesting ways to put your kid’s mug on a mug…so shop around and use coupon codes. And please resist the urge to make a giant blanket out of your tiny baby’s face. It’s just not right.

I kind of laughed when I saw the Winkflash recommendation up there, because I was on the phone with their customer service department at the very moment I was reading this. I ordered the notecards to be used as invitations for my son’s first birthday party from them 11 days ago, and although they shipped 24 hours later they have yet to arrive – so no lovely photo-card invitations, and I’m out the $50 I spent. *sigh* I’m sure their products are fine, but this was my first order with them, and their total lack of caring that my order has never reached me is going to make it my last.
I made picture books on Shutterfly this year for Father’s Day. It was so easy! I’ve also ordered mouse pads and mugs before. I’m addicted!
Great ideas! When I resigned from the high school where I used to teach two years ago my students gave me a throw pillow. The front portion shows a class picture taken during their JS Prom along with some beautiful thank you notes. Awww I was really touched!

Every year I make a Calendar for my Stepmom for christmas with her kids on it. Last year I made grandbaby calendars for my mom and Mother-in-Law too. They were such a big hit my Father-in-Law and DH’s grandma wanted copies too.
For father’s day I made custom cards with my son with his dad and granddads. They cost the same as a Hallmark and got many more ooohs and aaahhhs! : )
I keep suggesting the key chain on my review site in hopes my husband will take the hint and get it for me.
