@Wendy, you like Lombard as a summer bucket list item or you like the idea of giving Wyatt his own blog?

@Lauren, it sounds like you are the master of Posterous! Thanks for helping describe it better for folks who are interested. I peeked at your Posterous site. Better than a baby book! And I think we need to hire Stinkerton as the Rookie Moms poster child. Cuuuuute!

We set up a Posterous site after reading sponsored posts a couple months ago here and on Cool Mom Picks. What a great find! Here's what I like about it:

- Not all my family is on Facebook, so I was sending and resending emails letting them know I'd updated my Picasa albums as well as posting to Facebook. Now the pictures just go straight to their email inboxes.
- I can also autopost to Facebook for those I didn't encourage to subscribe to my posts.
- I had my FB pictures visible to only friends, which means my dad couldn't share them with HIS FB friends. But he can like my Posterous posts, which post them to his wall - and they don't have my son's name or identifying information attached.
- I can close comments, which is nice for a family of divorce where people don't want to see other family members' comments. (Sad but true - so handy.)
- Posting pictures AND video is EASY.
- It's about a trillion times easier than keeping a baby book for me!

What a brilliant idea! It is like a virtual scrapbook that your child can get involved with and take ownership of as he/she grows up. I love it!
