I adore these costume kits from Etsy shop, DIY Costumes. Last year we gave one away, but this year I’ll ask you to support the creator of the kits, Cassie Divine, and just buy one. I mean, she has provided us with a way to produce a handmade Halloween costume — no sewing skills required!
The kits contain everything you need to transform a plain sweatsuit into an animal for your child. The felt pieces are already cut out.
Baby/toddler kits (up to 5T) are listed by the name of the creature and come in three easy options based on the amount of time you want to invest…from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Your toddler could be monkeying around in less than an hour!

I’m torn between the lion and the monkey- our baby girl has 20+ monkeys and a monkey themed nursery, but the lion is just too cute!
I love them all, but I think I would want the monkey! My toddler still rides on my back in her carrier all the time, and we always call her monkey when she does…

I LOVE the bunny kit. I am so excited to see these. My baby will be 10 months at Halloween & my husband doesn’t think it’s necessary for her to have a costume & definitely doesn’t want me to spend money on one! To win one would be perfect! I love these also because you can keep your child warm, some of those costumes are just not warm enough!

I would have to pick the dinosaur or lion for my 4 month old son, since he just “learned” how to roar for what he wants!
But seriously what a great idea, making a costume from a sweatsuit. I’m from Ohio and most Halloweens the kids had to wear sweatsuits under their costumes because it was so cold. Some years they were wearing SNOWSUITS! How disappointing!

Love the Monkey and Lion. I had this idea for a dog costume for my son this year, brillant that someone is selling the kits. Would have saved me some time. Plus, I think I spent about $15 to buy all the materials and now I have extra random stuff.

I like the shark and the dinosaur. Super cute! and these would be great for down south where it is usually still in the 60′s (or higher) at night at the end of October! Most costumes are just to hot to wear!

It would have to be the Dinosaur. My oldest daughter is obsessed with dinosaurs. She has several as toys and makes them roar often.
