Kenny, I looked at your goodies at giddy giddy and they are hecka cute; but I also checked with Lisa (from Picnic Blog) who organized the Nest event at Studio Grow and she confirmed that my hair clips were from Swanky Bambino purchased at the 2008 event.

Hello Heather, I just wanted to tell you that you actually bought GIDDY GIDDY hairclips (www.giddygiddy.com) at Studio Grow’s Sample sale last year. We’ve been the only hair clip company there in the past. We are the original felt hair clip company based in Oakland and sold the clips to you! So you cited a company that actually ripped-off GIDDY GIDDY.

Sarah, years ago, I saw that Katie Holmes had them after birthing Suri and I just thought, “yes! she did have that baby! and this happens to Everyone.” In my case, the hair grew back but the hairclips stayed around. Treat yourself to a cut by a sympathetic stylist.

I use sunglasses. I think they are a permanent part of my head now, and my son thinks sunglasses go on your head, not in front of your eyes…. Doh….

A friend of mine swore by wide hair bands. I have yet to find a way to camouflage mine. I have wavy hair, but tend to wear it straight. Those little baby bangs sure don’t stay straight! I end up with a curly fringe all around my face. Somehow most of the moms in my baby group missed out on the baby bang phenomenon.
